Odegam Travel plans international expansion with
multi-lingual iVector system
intuitive Ltd is adding to its recent brace of pan-European
multi-lingual website development contracts with the
announcement that French
tour operator, Odegam Travel has contracted it to build a new
luxury holiday website using iVector, its web-based tour operating
and dynamic packaging system. The new site, which will go
live in September 2010, will provide the luxury tour operator with
a highly versatile platform from which to showcase its impressive
portfolio of directly-contracted products in Tunisia, as well as a
basis from which to expand its North African product offering in
the future.
Says Andy Keeley, Commercial Director, intuitive Ltd: "In the
eight years since Odegam was formed, the company has built a very
loyal client base in France. The Odegam Travel management team have
now developed a strong strategic plan to grow the company's
customer base so it can attract and sell a broader range of luxury
holidays in the pan-European and international travel markets.
"We first met with Odegam Travel at the Travel Technology Show
earlier this year where we demonstrated iVector. It was quickly
clear that its dynamic, multi-lingual capabilities would provide
the company with a very cost-effective method of quickly and
efficiently expanding both their offering and their customer base
across Europe. At the moment, we are focused on the build
phase of the bespoke website, which is due to be launched
shortly."
Sadredine Essid, owner of Odegam Travel, commented, "intuitive
has clearly understood our key objective from the outset: to create
a dynamic, multi-lingual website that is quick and easy to use for
the customer and gives us the confidence to know that we have an
extremely robust technology driving the new site. The
European travel market is a very competitive one, so we needed to
work with a technology partner that could build a site that could
deliver what the customer wants every time as that is the only way
to ensure we can compete effectively. The functionality that has
been delivered to us by intuitive iVector has been nothing short of
extremely impressive."
In fact, the project has been so successful to date that Odegam
Travel is already planning a second multi-lingual website featuring
a broader choice of destinations, which will start being built in
autumn 2010.
